Midwest Asset Management, Inc. is an independent Registered Investment Advisor with an outstanding eighteen-year track record of superior total and risk-adjusted returns. Located in Madison, Wisconsin, the firm creates and manages quantitative equity and fixed income portfolios for corporations, foundations, retirement plans, trusts, and high net worth individuals on a discretionary basis. We work closely with clients to help define realistic objectives and risk levels, then custom-tailor our strategies to meet their specific goals. Mutual funds are not utilized.
Midwest was founded in 1987 by James W. Byrd to help investors achieve their investment objectives in a high-probability and low-cost manner. The firm is registered under the 1940 Investment Advisors Act and is licensed with the State of Wisconsin. In order to eliminate conflicts of interest, minimize expenses, and provide superior services we are an independent organization and Portfolio Management Is Our Only Business.® 100% of our revenue is derived from managing client accounts as we do not act as a broker/dealer, custodian, or consultant. Our fiduciary responsibility is a serious matter, and we strongly believe that this structure is essential to achieve complete client-manager goal congruence.
